The weather, warm.
The vibe, cool.
The fashion, haute to death!
If you've ever attended Paris Fashion Week, then you know that the city almost literally vibrates with excitement.
There's an electricity in the air that draws crowds of paparazzi to the world's most recognizable fashionistas, almost all of whom are in Paris for these eight chic days.
Shiny mannequins in well lit windows line Av. Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Each clever display is more heavenly than the last.
By the time you've walked the length of the Ave, past Givenchy and Gucci, Balmain and Dior, Chloe, Celine and Chanel, you're so dizzy that you can barely make your way to Metro Clemenceau!
So, what's en trend for Spring?
Well, the vibe is preppy, in the best kind of way.
High waists, buttoned collars, paisley prints and studious hats.
But in an unexpected twist, there's a futuristic spin on retro Y2K silhouettes that can't not be noticed.
It's true, whatever creativity we haven't seen in the last two dreadful years seems to have been bottled up and has exploded onto the runways this season!
Ottolinger sent micropleated ballerina gowns down the runway with... wait for it... veiled baseball caps and blinged out sneakers.
I wasn't ready!
The color palette is anchored in periwinkle bleus and sage-to-chartreuse greens.
White is hot, too!
With microminis and flowing, wide-leg trousers making appearances in equal measure, there's a trend for every body silhouette.
Good news, #TeamChic,
INclusivity is finally in...
and it's fancy,
and it's fun!
The Maison Marcellé Spring 2022 Collection, with its whimsical prints and attention to atelier details, is (ahhh-gain) en accord with the Paris runway.
We couldn't be more excited to introduce
